Research Methods & Expected Outcomes

Guide RNA designing has been successfully completed for all the targeted genes. The designed Guide RNAs were cloned into the pYL-CRISPR-Ubip vector for construct development. In crop transformation, two cycles of transformation have been attempted for the targeted genes while transformation has also been initiated for apomixis.
