Research Methods & Expected Outcomes

Guide RNA designing has been successfully completed for all the targeted genes. The designed guide RNAs were cloned into the pYL-CRISPR-Ubip vector for construct development. In crop transformation, two cycles of transformation have been attempted for several target genes associated with key agronomic traits, while transformation has also been initiated for apomixis.
